Azan
Choose a built-in azan from the PrayTimes.org collection (plays online), or add up to 6 of your own recordings, which also work offline.
The azan plays while this app is open in your browser. Keep the page open (it can be in the background) and your volume up. Use an azan recording you have, such as a Makkah or Madinah azan saved on your phone or computer.
The map is centred on you with north at the top. On this kind of map the straight green line is exactly the Qibla direction.
Hold a compass flat, find north, then face the angle shown, measured clockwise from north. On a phone, tap “Turn on compass” and the dial turns by itself.
Arabic wording from the Quran and authentic hadith (sources on each card). English meanings are summaries, not word-for-word translations.
Upcoming Islamic dates
Dates follow the Umm al-Qura calendar. In India, moon sighting often places them a day later, so confirm with your local masjid.
